Speedometer calibration?

I finally picked up a speedo cable after 4 years without a speedo! It's front wheel drive so I installed the cable re assembled and went for a spin. At 20 mph it reads 50mph etc! It's just a simple setup and I'm wondering if there is any way to calibrate it?

Appreciate any help!
