I've hit buckled pavement because of heat that nearly did that to me. Took my breath away. But seeing it happen is funny.:hystria:

I think it was a "how to NOT video for the cops to show to the younger riders. WTF there was no other traffic on the street other than white tops & black pants .... Roll it by me or is that a given at 7am in the city.

he must have hit the front brake pretty hard for the back end to lift like that..

 

That speed bump was nasty, watch the second bike. Looks like they still are using FXDP's where ever that is. San Diego?

 

Watched the video again. Looks like out of the country.

 

Did the second cop on the bike issue the first with a ticket for excessive speed for road conditions?

 

I've seen this before. The speed bump is located in Mexico. I heard horror stories from several riders about them being huge and dangerous. This is the exact reason the US does not have these kinds of speed bumps. He is lucky and any rider here may be just as lucky. Anything more than 10-15 mph and you would probably have a similar outcome. Who goes 10-15 mph on the street?

 

AWESOME crash !! Good to see him up and moving.

 

Ouch! I've hit some dips in the road; nothing like that though. I hope he has a speedy and full recovery.

 

As much as that hurt, he's damn lucky he was thrown clear of the bike.

Reminds me of the "speed bumps" they put in the roads on base in Iraq. More like curbs going across the middle of the road...
