And then to adjust them you buy the lower tubes and clips then they are not cheaper. Their "easy" install rods are not that, hard is a better way to describe the adjustment. If it is Smiths I don't go with easy or quick anything. The least amount of exposed adjuster, most rigid choice is best and those drop in from the top only or for the less experienced guy the SE starts to look better. I do not use any Smiths 3/8" rods as the Cranes are less money and just as good.
They work but will need the tubes and clips from HD too $60 last time I checked, or thereabouts.
Confused now? Not what I am trying to do but high lift = rigid high quality pushrods that are not "easy" or the lower spring pressure lighter valve train can use a 3/8" adjustable from SE or Crane. There are probably a hundred others but these have always worked well for me.
