The kit you link to is the SOCK. ONLY the sock. Good to have if you ride much in rain.

I do want the sock, just think 25 bucks for it is high, but we are talking HD!

I ordered it, I'll take it when it comes in!

 

mine came with the rain sock, it was part of the kit.

 

Was there anything else to the kit? The other poster stated it was just the sock.

 

Hey Bowtie18. I ran an open air filter like this on my last two bikes. Never used a sock, and was caught in the rain a few times. Never had a problem. VERY nice looking bike by the way :beer:

 

Yet! The water will enter the cylinders.

 

$25 ain't bad. You know HD usually means hundred dollars.

 

My S/E Heavy Breather cam with a sock too.

 

Been running that setup for years. Id recommend getting a k&n filter that you can oil and reuse.

Hey, the sock came in, and I also painted the backing plate. The sock is overpriced, but needed!
