My Bad...

I don't have a service manual yet.

Does anyone know the torque value on the rear sprocket bolts of an '06 Deluxe(FLSTN?)

Mt Father bought the Chrome Sprocket Cover and I'm changing it today for him.

I believe this is a critical value. I thought I read of some models with broken bolts.

Well, if you're using the chrome hardware to mount it (you ARE using the chrome hardware, right? cause using the stock bolts on that chrome looks like ASS !! ha). It doesn't have a "torque value". Process is: 23 ft lbs, then an additional 90 degrees.

But if you are using the stock bolts... torque value is 55-65 ft lbs.

The manual also calls for 2 drops of Loctite Red (262), on each bolt.
