Failures. The CP seizing when set at recommended clearance, the Weiscos problems with their black coating flaking off. Had equally bad luck with Wossners many years ago. All problems ended after moving to the KB pistons plus they run extremely quiet being 4032 alloy and having the line2line coating.

I am an S&S dealer. I am not going to bad mouth them, they are an excellent company. I sell mainly 107 kits which are bored stock cylinders with KB Super Duty forged pistons, line2line coated and anodized tops and #1 ring groove. The cost is half roughly vs the steel lined 110 kits whether that is from any source including Harley. The reliability is excellent. In torque plates I maintain + or - .0002" top to bottom or better measured @68°F. They break in fast because I maintain the proper crosshatch angle and honing technique. I use a Sunnen CV616 power hone.
