Hello,
I have a 2001 electra glide 88 ci that is pretty much stock. Looking to upgrade to the hydraulic tensioners with the se cam plate and high performance oil pump. While in there I want to upgrade the cams.
I have been doing alot of research between the differnt cams, how they would work for my riding style and how they would respond to a 95" kit down the road.
Right now the tw21 was the front runner however I came across the reaper 525 which I like the specs and the operating range on more.
Let me preface by saying I do not want to do anything with the heads right now.
I know that the typical max lift for a early head is .510". So I reached out to fueling and explained the bike I have, how it is stock and asked if it was a mistake that the 525 reaper came were listed as bolt in for the 1999-2006. The response was that they are 100% bolt in for those years.
So my question is this. Does anyone have experience with installing these cams in an early 88 ci?
Thank you,
Dime
