Hey All!

I am looking for a set of zip-off, throw-over (under the seat) saddlebags. Anyone have any suggestions, opinions, experiences?

Thanks!

Tourmaster/Cortech makes straight and slanted, large and small throw-over leather bags that zip off. I have the large, slanted model. Works fine, but they are too small. Got a saddlebag brace from JC Whitney. Had to relocate the signals to the license plate.
Check out Leatherworks Saddlebags

Leatherworks saddlebags work well. I used to have a zip off set on my softail.
Willie & Max...good quality and selection (they will customize with conchos & studs) good pricing too, made in USA...I have a set and love 'em! BTW...there are "Pleather" but look and feel like leather and last much longer...
Thanks for the help, all! I got until Spring to decide, but looks like a good start here.
Zip-off bags...

I installed a set of Tourmasters on my '97 FXDL. They're the "Cruiser II Saddlebags - Slant Plain" (with pseudo buckles, plastic quick-clips, and top handles for easy lugging) Find'em online at the link below. Good luck.

It is Spring now, but my original post was in January!

I just ordered a set of "V-Leather" bags from Leatherneck Jim's, along with a set of Easy Brackets. I should have them in a week or so. I'll post pics and opinion when they arrive and are mounted.

Thanks for all of the suggestions!

Ditto
I went with the Tourmasters on my XL. They are an inexpensive but good quality product, and they do come off pretty easy. I have found however that I seem to leave them on.
