With out seeing it.... in my experience if a part is rivited on, the rivits can be drilled out, new holes drilled, and the part relocated and re-riveted. It sounds like the holes in the seat mounting plates are farther apart (lengthwise on the bike) than you need - if that is true, can you just drill a new mounting hole (closer) and grind down the excess mounting plate?Originally posted by Ogri98 Recently bought a seat from eBay advertised to fit all 96-up Dynas. Is there any way of modifying the WG seat to fit the Convertible? The front bracket appears to have been riveted in place, so I can't see you can move or modify it? Any ideas??
