I have a 06 SG 4 3/8 crank (103) mild ported heads with stock valves and stock throttle body and currently running a woods tw5 and I am wanting to try a set of headquarters 039.Will I lose low end torque? what can I expect? Also Im running a lsr 2-1 pipe

The TW5 is hands down one of the highest torque grinds out there with most heads. The HQ 0039 would give up peak torque and pull away slightly at the top. Generally speaking without any info on the all important heads, compression or pipe.

The HQ 575 is a much better cam than the 0039's. It will put a big smile on your face in that setup!
Depends on your application. When I did my HQ build I could have had either cam, talked to Doug and he said the 0039 would be better for what I was looking for. That was getting most of my torque as low as possible and no more than 10.1 compression.

I'm running the TW-5 and at 10.5:1 it pings 3-4000 rpm. I love the way it pulls but I need to get rid of some compression. What is your compression?

that is what i run for compression. detonation seems to be hard to get rid of without getting rid of performance.may have to try to take some compression out, then put timing back in to get the performance back. the 91 octane is a bummer indeed, i really have to wonder if it really is 91. it is one fast reving cam in the 110" for sure..

10.5-10.6 to 1 seems to work very well.
