I think while wiring in the trailer harness, you tripped the security system,,, since the security system is located in the turn signal module,,, and you spliced into the turn signals as well as brake and running lights...
When the security system is tripped, the fuel pump is disabled,, the engine cranks but won't fire, or it fires and runs for a second or two..
Undo what you did, then attempt to reset the security system, per the manual,, if thst doesn't work you may be buying a new TSSM modilule..
What year is the bike?? You should hope it is a pre canbus model..
