I am 6' 2" tall and ride a 1999 Road King Classic. I recently noticed that at speeds over 70 mph the major vibration I have been living with is not the motor, but is caused by wind turbulence. I come to this conclusion because if I duck down a bit the vibration/turbulence completely goes away. So, have any of you folks solved this problem? My guess is that the 2" taller wind screen may help. And/Or putting a vent in the lower part of the wind screen may help by reducing the vacuum.

You have to play with it a little. A taller screen might help if you want to look thru it. I go the other way, with a significantly shorter screen. You get a lot more windblast, but it is not turbulent air, because I hate to look thru windshields anyway.

On a RK it's easy as you can probably borrow different height detachable screens from other bikes.
