I'm considering buying an 01 FLSTFI that has screaming eagle slip on mufflers and breather kit on it. It has already been recalibrated for those. If I replace the stock pipes/screaming eagle mufflers with a set of Sampson pipes, will I need to recalibrate the engine again? Thanks all.

You shouln't need to recalibrate. After you change the pipes ride the bike for awhile. If you don't hear/feel anything unusual, you're OK.

Although you may want to keep a very close look on the color condition of the plugs for fuel/air miscalibration...
It would be a shame to turn those new pipes blue in the first week....

I am not sure but I don't think harley has but the one "Stage I" remap. I think they just either leave it stock or go straight to a universal "Stage I" reprogram so to them I think less-restrictive "pipes is pipes".

you'd need a power commander to really tweak for specific pipes.
