i have a Arlen Ness Stage 1, and a Rinehart 2 into 1.

08 Ultra.

the Dynojet map is # 033

and Fuelmoto put in a map for me when i bought it.

the Fuelmoto map is much richer

but the Dynojet map has the Rev Limit extended,

so I loaded the Dynojet map, but it still pops on decel, indicating a lean condition.

what altitude is fuelmoto dyno'ing at? dynojet?

I am at sea level.

side note,
how do i extend the Rev Limit in a MAP?

I think I will edit the Fuelmoto MAP on the top end, and just paste in the last few RPM's of the Dynojet onto the fuelmoto (easier than richening up the whole map of the dynojet map)

second side note,
I can't get the Accelerator Pump function to detect the PC3 either.
it either says it isn't connected,
or it says that another application is using the PC3

To asnwer some of your questions, first, Fuel Moto has no connection with Dynojet other than they sell our products. I do not know what parameters they set their maps to, so I cannot comment why they are "different" than what we design.

At Dynojet we are aware that fuel economy is a big concern for a majority of HD riders so we generally map the cruise range leaner than we might have int he past. These days (from what I have seen on this forum) people are willing to give up some throttle response and smoothness for better mileage.

Secondly, altitude is not the reason maps are different. The bike compensates for the altitude automatically, so if the same map is used at various altitudes it still offsets the fuel correctly.

I have attached a modified version of M818-033 for you to try. I have modified the 0% column (and a little at 2 and 5%) to help with the popping. It is not necessary to richen the entire map to affect the popping as it only occurs durung closed (or nearly closed) throttle.

Hey 04ctd,
Looking around at some old post and saw this one on PC3 maps. Witch map did you finally go with?

I used the DynoJet. I figured if they MAKE it, they know more about it.

it ran good...but still a bit lean, the pipes turned a very light golden hue over a two year period and ~10k miles.

they dynojet map was REAL close, but they can't compensate for the huge margin of manufacturing tolerances that compound on a HD.

it had a tiny/ever so often/slight lean decel pop, I should have tweaked it in a bit, but I just was too lazy.

i have a PC5 on my bike now, and it needs a tweak, but I am too lazy...

maybe DynoJoe can burn me one for a Limited with V&H true duals & high flow BUB slip fits (the carl brouhards - LOUD) and a Ness Air cleaner (the chrome one, it gives more powahh!!)
