I am in the process of installing the following on my 2005 FLHTCI.

V&H true dual headers

Wild pig mufflers with 1 3/4" baffles

Arlen Ness Big Sucker air intake kit.

I know there are other options such as buying the PCIII, etc but for now I just want to get a factory download. I remember reading on here somewhere that the regular "stage 1" download was too lean and that most people got a ????? instead as it worked better.

I am planning on taking my bike in for the download this afternoon, any advice would greatly be appreciated.

Wish I had seen your post earlier......Save the $150 on the download and get a SERT for $200 more which will expand along with any modifications that will be made to bike at a later time.....The stage one download is crap.....leaner than slim pickens.......

Don't bother with the HD download........it's useless.

Get yourself a PCIIIusb for $270, then download the map from their website, richen up the "0" column''s 4 lowest rpm spots to eliminate the decel. popping, and you're good to go.

or a DFO/TFI

Or spend $165.00 and put in a plug and play DFO/TFI. Easy to set and if you're not going to do much more for mods, this will serve you well. See the section in the EFI area. There's a ton of info.
