I have a long down grade that I enter at highway speed (60 mph) which has a speed limit drop from 55 to 45 to 25. I run a CV and I normally just shut down my throttle till I get to the 25 zone. Which circuit is supplying fuel as I come down the grade and running against the gearing. Sometimes I downshift, sometimes I don't.

If the throttle blade is closed, only the idle circuit will supply fuel. Assuming all is as intended inside the carb. The idle port is the only port uncovered by the throttle blade.
