Does anyone know if a 21 x 3.25 wheel will fit on the front of a '05 Wide Glide? Specifically, what modifications would I be looking at? I'm looking to replace the stock laced wheel with a vulcanized version (to accept tubeless tires) in a larger size to accomodate the Metzler 120/70-21 tire. Any help by anyone who has beefed up their front tire/wheel would be greatly appreciated...Thanks, Eric

NO!

It will not clear safely at the sides of the fender. You just can't get enough clearance. You could fix the mount pieces to be a bit longer. I think you need only 1/2 of inch to raise the fender and kick them out a bit to clear the sidewall.

I converted mine over to the metzler 120/70-21 tire with a 21x3.5 rim two years ago and went with a new fender.

The Metzler web site gives you some specifics on the tire clearance and tire dimensions that may help you. See metzler Fitment guide, http://www.us.metzelermoto.com/media/m_full_line.pdf to give you some idea.
