Iam looking at a Used Heritage - it was suggested that I check the condition of tyhe plugs. What should a good plug look like. Not sure if this really worth while since the Dealer can change the plugs to mask and problems. Here is what I think it should look like:

1) dry
2) Electrodes not worn or rounded
3) Not a lot of carbon
4) Tan in color?

What is a realistic plug look like from a Heritage with 27,000 miles?

Thanks!

Reading plugs is not the sure indicator of engine health as it used to be.
This is mainly due to the widespread use of unleaded fuels.

However, you certainly don't want to see oily or very sooty deposits, for obvious reasons.
