This is where you can post about the upgrades you do, or day trips you make. Anything not deserving of its own thread. You can show off your mods, or post a photo or two of the ride you took.

This in not a how-to area. But if someone posts a mod, its OK to ask how they did it. It is also not the place to post your 10 to 20 vacation photos, that would deserve a thread of its own in the proper area of the forum.

I took the dash off the new Dyna to fix the hump in the leather tank cover and found chipmunk stored a supply of seeds and such under it. It did not chew any wires. This is a first for me. I have seen them in cars but under a harley dash no.
Also replaced alarm module with just a blinker module to get rid of alarm.
I guess I should replace the tires but they have absolutely zero dry rotting or cracks, but the are 14 years old.

I changed my 13 year old tires with low miles along with brake fluid. I sleep better now.

Today I added a Dyna to my Dyna, along with a beat up thunder header, and a new fuel petcock. I also got rid of the big ass air cleaner cover and put a new element in.
Dumped the transmission fluid and filled with Redline.
Next up will be cams.

Today, I pushed my bike up into the shed until I see fuel tankers back running their routes. I went by my normal ethanol free fuel stop yesterday and all the pumps were covered up. I still have about 50-60 miles worth of fuel left, so it's not an emergency. The car is full, so the bike gets some time off.

Lucy got some new parts over the weekend! Lucy is a 2001 Super Glide that was bone stock with 16,000 miles when I bought her in May of this year. The parts lineup, S&S 510c cams, S&S Quickee pushrods, new tensioner shoes, and a CV 40 worked
over by Dale at Killer Performance. She runs strong!

Hello Forum.. I purchased a 2003 FXD about 2 1/2 years ago with 7k miles on odometer and it had forward controls installed.. It had the fancy little nipple, covering the gearshaft tip. I then did the simple big sucker and carb tune-up and Big Radius exhaust.. I wasnt thinking ahead, but I liked the sound of that exhaust on previous bike. I then decided to check CRO was good and install a torquey S&S 509 g complete camset because I never wanted to have camchain shoe failure worries.. I didnt want a high RPM cam but it bit more oomph and longevity. I knew the Big Radius exhaust were counter intuitive to the cam but they were already there. It felt fine, but I wasnt get the most out of it.. I installed the TTIs without baffles and it seemed to help lowend some.. It was a pinch louder also.. What did I do to my Dyna today ? I met tech at shop this am and we put bike on lift. He completely removed inner and outer primary.. He did inspection of all pressure plates, took the gearshaft, that had slight leak out, plugged hole and replaced all gaskets and some bearings. adjusted clutch and put all back together.. I was on other side and removed Big Radius exhaust.. I decided on, Basani 1D18R 2-1 exhaust. I put it on bike. It was a easy fit with all parts needed. Seemed high quality.. There was a parts list but no directions.. I have done several exhaust systems so no worries, but couldve been tough, if no experience.. The exhaust gave a huge seat o pants gain. Its quite quiet at idle, but very loud wide open.. My existing tune was perfect for new exhaust..

Swapped exhaust a little while back.I had Cycle Shack Staggered Duals before and their performance was decent. The largest problem was that they shook a lot and broke clamps on a regular basis.
I picked up a bit of a torque dip but gained at least 12 hp.on top.( I have to get the old dyno sheet to compare). The cam is working as it should now and makes hp. to 6200 rpm.
