Age 12 first dirt , 16 first street bike, 20 first Harley, sporty, which at that time a lot of people did not consider a real Harley, to bad i liked it, and it was an amf. I still have my sportster pin and live to ride belt buckle. saferiding rickpoco
First Harley---1976 AMF Sporty. Bicentennial Edition. Sold it in 1980 to make down payment on first house. Without until 1999. Bought '98 FXDWG. Had a lot of fun on it. Ordered a Fat Boy in 2000. Took delivery in October of 2000. Big bore kit out of the box, with Mikuni HSR42 and Samson Big Gun Street Sweepers. I'm in heaven and enjoying every minute of it.

Bought a new XLCH in 1971. Price was $2,175. Before that it was a new 1970 Triumph Bonneville. Prior to that a used BSA lightning,BSA Victor and a used Norton while in High School in 1962. (no jap bikes in my past). Guess i'm about ready for the glue factory

30 Years old when I got my first Harley, a vivid yellow 883 Sporty. At 27 I got my first road bike, japper. Had four jappers in the interim, total. At 37 I received my first big twin, a '99 FXDX as a gift from my then girlfriend who is now my Wife.
Been riding since I was 12. Honda 50 then an old Yamaha 80. My Dad told me if I ever came home with a road bike, he'd take a sledgehammer to it. I would like to think that he'd understand.
