Be honest now. What you're really upset about is that you couldn't persuade those guys into subscribing to your point of view. It can be a tough crowd over there and they weren't buying so you took your ball and came over here.It's OK to belong to 12 if that's your thing. I belong to more than one on a couple of other interests. But as far as I can tell, there are only 2 HD forums that are worth visiting. And this one is by FAR the better of the two.
I just get tired of reading 90+ arguments about a LEO roadblock set up to check licenses being a violation of their (notice I didn't say MY) constitutional rights and was illegal.
One guy said that he'd tell the officer..."Sorry, but you can't see my license under these circumstances". I'd pay BIG money to be a bystander when that happened. :hystria:
emirharley....I'll take the Premium member thing into serious consideration. Give me a couple of weeks to get settled.
I've been reading this site for a while and I doubt you'll have any better luck trying to aggressively persuade folks over here. Oh yeah, I read the other thread and your posts in the thread so I'm fully aware of what "you" believe are the facts.

Absolutely incorrect. And I'm definitely NOT upset.
Everyone has differing points of view in many different topics. I have no problem with that. But the general attitude is very different from what I want to be around. Common sense is a very valuable tool in life, and it seems to get lost with some folks. I'll never back away from a civil discussion and an exchanging of information. That's a most valuable learning tool. But there are differing "sections" of our population that subscribe to very different outlooks on life and what deserves our attention. Maybe I'm weird, but the general attitude wasn't one that I agreed with. I guess that at 55 yrs old and retired, maybe I just didn't fit in with that particular group. Heck, I might not fit in here either. I guess time will tell. I'm well educated, fairly level headed, and try to get along with everyone who treats me fairly. And if things don't work out....I'll move along. I'm sure you guys won't care either way.
It seemed to me that each and every time I posted there that a certain member had to commit an all-guns-ready attack on whatever I said. I guess I had my own personal troll......
But that's a moot point. Your deduction as to why I came here is incorrect, and I'd just prefer to move forward. It really isn't worth the time to discuss it, IMO.

Fair enough. If nothing else, you get points in my book for knowing it is a moot point and not a mute point as written by some.

If that's the context in which they are using mute, then that would be correct. After reading this site for more than a year, I'm pretty sure there are people here that would ride him hard and put him away wet, just like they did over there, if the situation presented itself.
Anyway, it is all good and it just tickles me pink that he's found a place to be happy.

Yeah....but you didn't see the private messages that I got......and it wasn't the first time it happened. As for my part in the discussion, it was "tame" considering the messages I received that you couldn't see.
But that's my side of the story, huh? (I said it before you did). It almost seems to me like you are trying to get me riled up because of something that you "think" you know about, but don't have even 1/2 of the facts or information. If you want to start a ruckus, I'm sure that some of my posts will provide you ample opportunity.
BTW, is this the welcome that is usually presented to new members that are unsatisfied elsewhere and come here seeking a better / different experience?
But for now, like I said...can't we just drop this mess and move forward?

I have to sey them out loud so my little daughter cen spell them out four me. Not everybotty hear ken spell so good. I wont name names but some are more notorious then others. That's WAY too complicated for me...If you check their join dates you'll notice Hidalgo joined in Sep 07 and RDM in Jun 07 ... RDM actually joined before so he couldn't have followed him here ... technically speaking of course
