Be honest now. What you're really upset about is that you couldn't persuade those guys into subscribing to your point of view. It can be a tough crowd over there and they weren't buying so you took your ball and came over here.
Absolutely incorrect. And I'm definitely NOT upset.
Everyone has differing points of view in many different topics. I have no problem with that. But the general attitude is very different from what I want to be around. Common sense is a very valuable tool in life, and it seems to get lost with some folks. I'll never back away from a civil discussion and an exchanging of information. That's a most valuable learning tool. But there are differing "sections" of our population that subscribe to very different outlooks on life and what deserves our attention. Maybe I'm weird, but the general attitude wasn't one that I agreed with. I guess that at 55 yrs old and retired, maybe I just didn't fit in with that particular group. Heck, I might not fit in here either. I guess time will tell. I'm well educated, fairly level headed, and try to get along with everyone who treats me fairly. And if things don't work out....I'll move along. I'm sure you guys won't care either way.
It seemed to me that each and every time I posted there that a certain member had to commit an all-guns-ready attack on whatever I said. I guess I had my own personal troll......
But that's a moot point. Your deduction as to why I came here is incorrect, and I'd just prefer to move forward. It really isn't worth the time to discuss it, IMO.
