Was 40F and sunny when I left this morning (south west PA)on a goof off day(checking out the last of the leaves). Don't really know what it got up to later must have been in the 60's anyway. Beautiful day for a putt till I hit a little rain late this afternoon.
Stopped at dealer sale and picked up a few deals for my new scoot when it gets here. While I was there, they were doing a V-Rod with the custom white paint with the ghost flames... sweet. I'm a bagger guy myself, but that paint job was nice.
Sure am jealous of those Bay tempertures! It won't be long and I'll be done for a while. The weather man is calling for some snow this weekend.
Just because I'm stuck in this forbidden part of the country doesn't mean I won't ride. Hopefully, won't have to "store" the bike this winter at all. 120 miles last Sunday in 40-43 degree weather. Cold as a well-diggers balogne sandwich. Took a few hours to warm up when I got home. The good times I remember, the bad parts quickly disappear. So Yep, it was a good ride. Plan on doing it again tomorrow in mid 40's.
Yeah, froze my nuts off Thursday. Slept early just to shake off the cold in my bones. Friday was warm, but I would not call it nice. Put about a hundred miles on the bike though. Today we got about an inch of snow on everything but the roads. Rain will wash it all away. We'll be ridin' again next week for sure.
