I have an Ultra Classic with the standard polished aluminum wheels with black painted highlights in the spokes. After a season of lots of riding and a few quicky spray washes, the wheels were looking pretty bad. Now I have them cleaned up and looking better than when the bike was new. My question is, should I wax the wheels with the same McGuires wax I use on the body work, leave them dry, or is there something better to preserve them with?

I would definately put a good coat of wax on them.

There's a product called Wheel Wax that is specially for wheels. It works fantastic and Google will help you find it.

I use Flitz to clean and protect. Nothing but Flitz.
