warranty

my dealer told me the warranty on a new bike would be $1400 for 7yrs.I kind of feel that I,m paying for my repairs upfront or that there must be alot of problems with the new bikes?:eek:

Sure about that? I thought I saw somewhere that someone said h-d had dropped that policy. Maybe I was dreaming or somthing.
