I had a sidecar back in the 70's. Put thousands of miles on it. Had it up Mt Washington and had also catapulted my wife out of it on a wet night approaching Boston. Left hand turns were firm, right hand turns you could float it much to the surprise of the passenger..
Yah..I was turning right one day at a moderate rate of steady speed and Blam! up goes the sidecar holy sh*t!!

I found it a partnership when riding someone in the side hack. Wife would lean which ever way we were turning to help assist.

With grand kids, they would fall asleep within 5-10 minutes. I would know because when I would brake I could hear them bang there helmets on the dash and when accelerate they would careen back in place, lol.

Well I have decided to buy it and get him a cashier's check in the morning. I have to fabricate the upper bar for the hack and it might not be worth the shipping, but I am going to make a go of it. I shall lean on Smitty for info, but I think he enjoys helping the nuts.

Share experiences and knowledge is what the forums are about.
Stepping in to new things keeps life interesting.
Shipping a sidecar is easier than a bike it needs to be created right and no stack on top labels then trucked.

The hack is gone too. The guy that traded wanted the side car more than he wanted the Electra Glide, but he took both. It was a good dream while it lasted. I am not interested in a Hannagin type, but the old bullet.

A new Velorex 562 or 563 can be Purchased with mounts and shipped at a fair price.
Not your highest end but a very use able budget hack.
DMC very good to great hacks run you a bit more
And Hannigan . The DMC and Hannigan you will pay for.
On a lighter build you may not need all the extra options.

I will check these out thank you I was hoping I would see something on fukbook. There are trikes for sale, but I like something that uses the left side of the tread. I like the open cockpit with a windscreen so the passenger can enjoy the rain too. It won't be attached all the time unless I find that I prefer the ride. On the other hand I enjoy zinging around the curves.

Here is another good reason for a side car, stability. I broke my ankle today pulling into a driveway. There was a hole in the dirt drive and I kept thinking, go right of the hole, but my front tire found the rim and steered me into the front yard. The tire hit soft ground and over she went. The left bag caught my ankle and it turned my foot around backwards and cracked it. Then the sudden stop slammed my head on the ground. Of course I wasn't wearing a helmet, but my fat head cushioned the impact.

There is not even the smallest scratch on the King, but I was thinking maybe I go back to the Heritage for awhile with the beach bars. I don't think much of the oem shiitt. I thought that it might be better when adjusted back down again, but they still too high and those wide suckers make it feel squirrelly in the front.

Now it is the end of a long day. They gave me a script for the good stuff and said no alcohol. We was 1 minute late to Walgreens and they wouldn't take the prescription so I came home hurting like hell. My daughter made up some ground ice and 2 shots of tequila with slices of lemon.

Well dam Cap, thought you knew better? You see what happens when you let a ho' get your attention, nothing but trouble.

Hopefully it's a good break, not one of those that have to be all pinned back together?
