No snow, but colder than a well digger's arse I bet. Lucky you not down here where everyone I know has a virus. Check out the AK 88 it doesn't have vent holes, but has been a cool summer helmet for me.

Thanks Captainhook...I'll give the AK a serious look...appreciated

I wear goggles over my prescription glasses if raining. I have tried all kinds of prescription bike glasses, Ray-Ban etc. They all suck.

The Wiley SG1 with the seals I thought was a great pair of glasses but for some stupid ass reason they were discontinued. I have another pair of Wileys (forget the model) that work but a bit smaller than the SG1 so not quite as effective.

As to vented helmets, never had one that vented very well or at least I couldn't tell the difference.

Check the dealership. I got my Wiley’s there.
Several choices.
I also carry a pair of swimming goggles, but I found nothing works so well as a FF helmet with good venting.
On the slab with trucks slinging road grime and such, it’s a life saver.

SportRX has done me well in the past as has a local eye care office. Both have given me some good prices on prescription Wiley glasses and the local place went WAY out of their way to track down a thicker gasket that no one knew was even made.

I have several styles of Willys and they are nice but to this day the pair of riding glasses I find most comfortable are my Ray Ban Predators RB2027 W1847. They wrap nicely and have narrow arms so I don't get real thick white walls on the sides of my head from the sun. I bought polarized safety lenses that replaced the original synthetic lenses making them nice and clear. If you go to an eyeglass store they can even get prescription lenses for them. I've been riding with them for almost 10 years.

Have to be carful on the vents, had my mouth vent open & a bug come throu was flying around inside good I had a modular Helmet on. Bike has windshield to.
You were lucky. Had the same thing happen and the bug made it through the vent but it wasn't in any condition to fly around inside. It was mostly liquefied bug by the time it got to my face. It was not a small bug.
