I have the BSS with the quiet baffles and they sound like a small block chevy. Loud when you get on it but can cruise without going deaf. I've heard about BCT baffles but from what people say they are loud but give you the backpressure a HD needs to perform.

"BSS" Big Shot Staggered pipes and "BCT" Big City Thunder baffles. Never had short shots but the baffles in my pipes, which are longer than yours, give it deep throatier sound.

By gawd they are loud....Too loud.

Then I don't think you want BCT baffles...The quiet baffles have a fiberglass wrapping around. I think mine burnt off in about 200 miles and they get louder. With the baffles they aren't much quieter than the way V&H send them.

ahhhhh, the expense of lessons learned.

????? they are quieter and give the engine more backpressure. Every set I hear without the QB's sound like there underwater when idling.
