OK here it is, the third V-Twin Forums Ride of the Month event for 2017.

In keeping with the previously voted on format, this month is an open event. Any V-Twin scooter can be entered. Long as you own it, it plays.

As we get close to spring, lots of folks have already been out riding scooters, even in the unseasonably warm tundra to the north. So shine em up a little, take a few photos and get em entered. You never know, your scooter could be the next V-Twin Forums Ride of the Month.

As always, please remember to format those entries properly.

You can use these as inspiration.

It's been a couple of years since I played ... I was going to wait until summer and get some new pics with a hottie on it. Might still do that and post them anyway.

1983 FXRT, not stock but built to ride while retaining a mostly stock appearance.

Year: 1983
Model: FXRT (first year and only year Shovelhead)
Eng size: 1340 (Bone stock)
Transmission: 5sp (Stock)
Pipes: Stock (hens tooth to find)
Seat: Stock HD from a 1994 FXLR (nicer than the original)
Wheels: Chrome 13 spoke late model HD (Matching rear in the works, hard to do with the stock enclosed chain drive!!)
Accessories: Daymaker head light, GPS, FXRP Foot boards, Tour pack (not on it currently), K&N Air Filter, Even though the AC is the stock "Ham Can", I would call it an accessory because so many were removed and trashed.

Bought it over 10 years ago and had plans to do some upgrades for reliability but its been too reliable the way it is so I never did them. One plan thought is to machine the matching chrome 13 spoke rear wheel to work with the stock enclosed chain drive. That should be done this year.

Well......guess I can figure out who wins. Mine can't do a wheelie! And he's a Mod too.
Can I throw a red flag?
Thank you very much for the compliment on my bike (seriously). However if more people would join I would be happy to bow out. I was hoping that maybe later in the year we could do an All FXR month.

I think ya should...employees of the company should not be allowed to enter or win.
Not an employee, just an enthusiast.
