The first V-Twin Forums Ride of the Month event for 2017 is an Open Event. So any V-Twin Motorcycle can be entered. This is the first of 10 events for 2017, 4 opens, 4 specials and one Wildcard event. Followed up by the Ride Of The Year Event. The full event schedule will be set before the end of this month.

This year you will have three ways to make it into the Ride Of The Year Field. You can win one of the 8 events. You can win the Wildcard event. Or you can be the Promoters Choice. The Wildcard event will be the 8 runner up entries from the 8 Events. The Promoters Choice will be a random entry from the 8 events. The one scooter that I like best out of the remaining entries.

So, new for 2017, any scooter that is entered in the V-Twin Forum Ride Of The Month will have the opportunity to be included in the 2017 V-Twin Forum Ride Of The Year.

So lets get to it and kick the year off with Event 1.

And the story: I bought this from a bro with lo mileage many many years ago, It went thru three incarnations to get here, made changes as my tastes changed and here it is. It's hit all the western states and been to Sturgis twice. It's presently sitting at 80,540 miles. Bike was a Prestigious Painter winner from House of Kolor in 2011

and in Baggers Mag in June 2009 when it was all chromed out vs. blacked out.

It's won Best Paint, and two class trophies at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona. It's been a fun dependable bike that draws looks everywhere i take it. Wherever i go with it, i never worry about seeing a bike that looks "just like mine" cuz there ain't any. lol
