Anybody have any experience with this product? Cycleworld (Oct.) did an evaluation on a Classic and they were very positive.

I have a 98 road King that is turbocharged. It is very fast and I like to ride fast but the shaky handling made me a little nervous. So I installed the Tru-Track and lowered the front 1" and put the Gold Emulators front suspension kit in and Progressive 418 rear shocks also 1" lower than stock. I have bad feet, titanium toe joints, many surgeries, and some arthritis in my feet and needed to get lower for stability when stopped. All these changes have made the bike handle better. It no longer does the hula under me in a long fast sweeping curve like it did. There is also a company that makes a set of replacement cleveblock bushings for the swing arm that are supposed to help make these bikes handle better. I would say the Tru Track works as stated. My-2$en#e- ? Smoke and mirrors. On the newer scoots with beefyer frames and the 1" axles, they don't wiggle like the older ones did. My 98 RK felt like the frame was made from linguini! Not so the 2003 EGC. And yes, I hustle the heck out of her. I keep forgetting I'm on an 800# bagger and think I'm on a Buell! Save your $$$, invest in a good suspension, most here like Progressive 440's, and a good set of tires. My opinion.

I respectfully disagree. My EG has less than 4K miles and this is my third HD bagger. Though not a Ricky racer, I do take long sweepers and reducing radius turns with verve. I definitely get the swim these iso swingarms induce.

There's a small writeup in Cycle about these devices. They do make a difference, though they also say they're a little pricey. On a general putt, you might not notice but I wish I had one going through Spearfish Canyon a couple of months ago.

Well my friend, I guess thats why there is chocolate and vanilla!! Many of us in here will not agree on all matters I suppose. I just get this feeling about some things, ya know what I'm trying to convey here? Maybe in some aspects I'm just "old school" and don't want to get with some of the newer stuff, I dunno!! I agree that they are quite pricy however!
Ride safe! ( I LOVE your sig line!)

I have an 05 Ultra. 3,500 miles and it wobbles in turns and fast lane changes. I ride it extremely hard. After installing True-Track the wobble is gone! On a rubber mount motor the front mount has a cross brace, the rear does not. The True-Track adds the cross brace to the rear which keeps the swingarm from moving left or right and only lets the motor move forward and backwards. If you ride hard you will notice a differance.

Tell that to my '05 EG Classic. It's like I'm on the back of a snake when I hit the long sweepers. I'm installing a tru-track on my next service. The people that I've talked to say the device has cured the problem 100%.

My FLHTCI used to handle pretty good- but has gotten much worse over time. I'm going to try one of these products. I'm thinking about replacing the bushings at the same time I add the brace- anybody know who makes the aftermarket cleveblocks?

Many opinions on this issue, one thing for me is sure- It is an issue on my bike.

Talking with a few people on possible factors that make the problem worse:

One shop owner/ wrench told me that he believes the more HP you pump out the worse it gets. More torque= more twisting and deflection.

Some CVO owners think that their bikes do it more because of lowered suspension, but he felt it was due more to increased HP/torque. Makes you wonder...

The frames are NOT beefier. Thet are the same as they were in 1997.
The front axle is now 1" and the rear swingarm was improved in 2002 with a 3/4" pivot through the trans and a 1" rear axle. If you can't get your 2003 to wiggle at leat a little you're not trying hard enough.
