I wonder if anyone makes a wire basket for the front...you know, like Florida retirement trailer park pedal trikes? Those are snazzy-especially in triple plate chrome. Maybe a squeeze ball horn, too? Just a thought.

I was kinda thinking of duct-taping one of those red plastic shopping baskets to the back of mine. Place to put my walker with the green tennis balls on the bottom. Hot stuff!

Looks like a great idea for those that have phyiscal problems. Would be great on a long haul with a trailer. When ya get where going just diconnect and two wheel it. Can't be much worst than those who trailer their bike to a rally then ride in the last few miles complaining about the rough ride they had to get there.

You forgot the little bell. I loved pushing that lever and hearing my bell getting rung. Wait; that didn't sound quite right.

We have a old WW11 vet in our MC club and for him it was either quit riding or go as you see in the video. He rides an old EVO FLHT and gets along real good and it doesn't look that bad either.

I think its great

The first 60 deg. day here of this year I went for a ride befor going in to work on second shift and I came to a stoplight was waiting for the change and a couple that if they were a day old they were eighty roll through the light on one of these so called training wheel bikes. Both the gentelman and his lady were grinning from ear to ear. I had to smile aswell. They were truley enjoying themselves and if I am lucky enough to reach their age I can only hope to still have my knees in the breeze. Knock'em if you must but you too may one day be riding one of these and find your self with a face full of smiles.

I think whoever rides one of them or a trike is a PU##Y.

I've owned two trikes and two two-wheelers. When our kids got old enough to travel with us I bought a trike so we'd have a spot for the kids to take turns napping while we traveled. Oh, the sacrifices of motherhood. Sigh.

After the kids were old enough to ride I went back to a two-wheeler.

After a long period of illness, during which I sold my last bike, I became healthy enough to buy another and chose a trike as my balance/reflexes aren't as sharp as they once were. That happens when you rack up the decades. ;)

I'm pretty glad to have it and not have to give up riding. There's a heck of a lot of women my age who ride rocking chairs and I'm still out on the road! So I suppose it's all in the way you look at it.

Incidently, it does stay upright on two wheels as well except trike vs training wheels, as I found out last summer when an automobile cut a corner too close for comfort. Glad to have that question answered.
Hello. Have you tried an adult tricycle or adult "training wheels" for winter riding? I'm really leery of riding on ice even with winter tires and taking other measures. I think I'd feel more stable with three or more wheels. Schwinn makes a mass-market tricycle, but it's single speed. Maybe that would be OK. There are a number of adult training wheel or stabilizer systems on Amazon, but a lot of the reviews aren't great. Any thoughts?

I'm 74 years old. Still swinging a leg over one of my four Choppers. But, I do also own a 93 Evo converted to a 3 wheel trike. The Girlfriend refuses to ride on a "lick and stick" rear seat, so it works for us. Also when I visit my out of state Granddaughters (1,100 mile round trip) I'll use the trike, only bike I own that I can carry belongings on...i
