These rings were wrong right from the start.
I recently had a good deal of work done to my Evo, including new rings, and I talked to my shop at length about these things and finally went back to stock HD rings. Essentially, they said that there was no reason to use them for street applications. I don't have them--totally satisfied with going back with stock HD rings, and after reading the above, I'm glad I didn't use them.
