Of course that's true stannen but what people typically call an inch-pound wrench is usually a 3/8 drive and accurate down in the low end of the scale like maybe from basically zero up to 180 inch-pounds (or 15 foot-pounds). What is typically referred to as a foot-pound wrench is often 1/2 inch drive and good up to maybe 150 foot-pounds (varries by model) but to be accurate at those hign values, it can't also be accurate at really tiny values so a lot of them list a working range of about 10-150 foot-pounds. Even one that lists 0-150 foot pounds might only have settings every 2 or 3 foot-pounds so you are at best only within 24-36 inch-pounds which is not accurate enough for small fasteners. plus I'd need one and maybe two adapters to get a 1/2 drive adapted down to a T-15 torx on a tiny screw.

So......errrrrr...like Wyodude said..........."BOTH"
