The "torx" may be "torx plus", which are a little beefier.
Tool/Fastener Fit
Is it just me, or are some of the HD fasteners a bit sloppy in 'wrenching section' tolerance? Most of the Torx and Allen fasteners seem a little sloppy, while the hex heads are generally pretty decent.
I use good quality tools that fit everything else like a glove, but on the bike they just seem sloppy.
I've also found that sometimes I get a better fit trying a metric on a standard fastener or vice-versa.
