I live in the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge. A place called Corbett Oregon...well, it's a sunny day in the winter (pretty rare here in the winter) right outside my front door are some beautiful twisties...but.....check out this link and check the wind speeds out.....too windy for you? I have learned to accept it.

Not so bad, though it may be too windy to load rock.

Come to Kansas sometime.
Those 20+ days are getting to the point where it starts to detract from the fun of the ride. I've ridden in 30+ mph wind before...not fun, really, but certainly not making NOT ride either.

Precisely. I've ridden through gusts 35mph and above, but I can't say it was fun. Side winds are particularly annoying in two-way traffic.

You'll feel right at home in Kansas.

Tractor-trailer rigs plus high cross winds plus 2-way roads make for some "interesting" rides.
