I'm not a sucker for any one particular feature, except for maybe that perfect butt

What pulled me into the Bob in order of importance was

6 spd trans
injection
engine updates
rubber mounted engine
blacked out cases
49mm fork
frame and swingarm upgrades
big axles

Of course there are things I don't like too :(

Is that Bob's butt or the perfect butt on a female **** sapiens? :whisper:

I like everything about Bob except for the key falling out in the "off" or "lock" position.

What are the things you don't like?

I'd add the mid glide front end.
My number one beef is the spoked rims, but just from the practical standpoint. I would have liked a cast rim option, but not the o6 one (ugly).

I'm thinking the tank scrip is a little too feminine or new age, I do like the one on the 06 Night Train though.

How about a dual disc set-up too. In fact, if they don't add caliper mounts to the other leg next year, I'm going to put on a standard V-Rod front end complete with the V-Rods new staggered spoke cast rims front and back.

the seat, I don't like how it rides up on the tank (jap like)

I'm not crazy about that cheesy looking dash without a tach either.

But, like any other H-D product, nothing that can't be fixed, JUST BRING MONEY

I'm hoping someone comes out with a speedometer/tachometer combo that will replace the stock speedometer. I'd like to add a tach, but don't want to add a pod, or anything, to the front.

I don't believe the key is designed to stay in the ignition, and for several reasons. I personally don't want anything that may be connected to the key scratching any paint.

the dash really does suck! I want to install the low rider chrome dash with tach but am stuck on one point - where to put the idiot lights? Handlebars no go as have opted for the street slammer bars and they are 1-1/4 inches thick!

Any ideas would be sorely appreciated as the harley dealer said i should wait for a chrome cover due sometime (maybe!) next year
There ia a speedo/tach combo. Or at least supposed to be from Dakota Digital. I called them and they said they had one out. Have not got it yet or put one on. It would be a digital speedo and probly a digital tach. Still with all the other electrical thingys.

Had one of there speedos, a simple one, on my old sporty. It still works very reliably after 2 years of abuse.

I do not like the spoked wheels, looking to trade with another dyna. Do not like the key as it is hard to find at night when it falls to ground. Geared to high also. Would like to drop the primary gearing back to the old and I bet it would RRRRIIIIIIPPPPP.

It's my understanding the primary gearing was only changed to make sixth feel like a O.D. given the 6th's 1:1 ratio. I also believe the 6 spd first gives basically the same overall ratio as the 5 spd did. In all honestly, I've been too lazy to look it up. Anyway, for my skinny ass I've never had a H-D product that came geared high enough, and was always one of the first things I changed
So far as the ign. key placement on a Dyna, (other than DWGs), it's put there so as when you drop your right hand straight down while seated, the ign. sw. will be at your fingertips. It can be a PIA if you cop a tude and refuse to get used to its placement. One option is to grind a notch in the sw. bezel with a Dremel Tool so you can remove the key after turning on the ign. It doesn't help with placement but is still a neat trick previously posted by another member.
