I'm stuck like Chuck. '72 XLCH was partially disassembled when I got it. Manifold clamps were missing, got those and installed them. The bike came with three Zenith/Bendix carburetors, cleaned one and installed it. The throttle cable was disconnected at the carburetor, it goes through the handlebars, it's dangling. I've searched for info or pictures of the routing of the cable and come up empty...stared at it, tried different routes but nothing seems to be make sense. I found one picture and it appears the bracket will need to be made but found nothing on the routing. Don't want it binding up or melting. Any advice, information or pictures of the routing would be greatly appreciated. It's probably very simple but I'm just not seeing it. Thank you.

Replaced the internal wire with a braided accelerator cable from an air-cooled VW, soaked the coil in Evaporust, greased the barrel throttle mechanism. It operates as it was intended now.
