This started out as a stock new 00 night train and everything that was done to it was done by me. And I know I will not pull up to a red light and see one like mine next to me. And it makes me feel alot different because I done all the mods myself. Thanks

I think your bike looks really good, but I don't agree with the fact that you have done that to a Night Train. In my opinion, the reason that the Night Train is so cool is cuz it's different: blacked out. When someone tries to chrome out a bike that was originally intended to be blacked out, I feel it ruins the whole reason of why that bike was different to begin with. There are millions of bikes out there that are all chromed out (including mine), but there are not as many bikes out there that are blacked out like the Night Train. That's why I think the Night Train is such a cool bike, cuz it's different.

Don't get me wrong at all. I think your bike looks really good. I just can't help but wonder why you didn't buy a Standard if you were going to chrome it all out. Not only is the Standard significantly cheaper, it also begs to be chromed out. That's what I would've done if I was gonna go for the all chrome look. But everyone's got their own preferences. Just my $.02.

Ntrainrider- Nice lookin flames, are those p-coated stock rear turn signals ? And your fender strut bolts also? Nice touch.

My scooter is in the members gallery but I havn't had time to sit down and add it to this thread. Not as many mods as most of these but winter is comin......

Blkbike- Thanks for the comments. The turn signas are actually V-rod rear, and the bolts I took off and used spray can Black wrinkle paint. Seems simple but it was alot of work.

I bet his title says it is a train so it's gotta still be one! Pretty friggin awsome lookin too! Way to go fattire. This sort of reminds me of guys chopping up a classic car and turning it into a racecar. Some people had a problem with it and they should mind there own business imho. I have a goldkey 03 night train, proably won't do much to it, but if I win the lotto and want to change everything, I doubt I would trade it off for a softail and then start over. It's your bike, do what you want with it!!

Bimini, Great looking bike
2 Questions for you................ 1st what bars are you using? (pullback and rise)
2nd what seat do you have?
BTW my bike has the stock seat and bars, I am only 5'10" and find streching for the bars uncomfortable after a few hours of riding.
Did the bars and seat you installed change the reach?

Absolutely love it! it's my 4th seat and best by far, not as sleek and low as other solo's but the thing is all day comfortable and cheap to boot! I bought a Saddleman solo with the gel in it right before Daytona and rode about 1 day with it and wanted to burn the thing! this one is the Harley "Diamondback solo" and cost about half as much....

Bimini here, I had to change my UserName as I am now on a 7 month deployment in Okinawa right now and had to re-register, so the Black Beast is nestled in a dark corner with no one to ride her. Anyway,

Nighttrain 02,
the bars are wild 1's with the 8 inch rise, not sure of the pullback, and the seat is a HighEnd ButtCrack. The bars are way more comfortable and kinda' fall into your hands. The seat puts you lower and further back into the bike though, making your reach even further. I'm 6'4" so I was looking for all the room I could get.

The Pipes are VH BigShot Staggerd's, I had a Pro Pipe on it for the performance, but I loved the 2 into 2 look. Didn't lose any performance as far as I could tell. Just remapped the PCIIIR and it runs awsome.

It's good to see this NightTrain thread come back to life again.

have to ask. do y'all like the standard tank logo? for a sisnister black bike, it is far to an AMF like design, would look good on a bowling ball, juke box, a buble like green car ...
