... and he designed the path to replacing the intake seals on a 2004 Road King Custom. Or maybe I'm a masochist. Sheesh. On the other hand, I had a good excuse to buy some new tools.

@gree: That was, without question, the most daunting, terrifying, well...fill in with your own adjective, tasks I had while tearing my bike down. I had visions if stripping the inside of those allens out. I won the battle. When I put everything back together, I will be using 4 of the stock rocker cover bolts to replace those silly allens (the new rocker cover bolts will be the polished SS from alloyboltz.com).

Yep, next time .. lol. Man, I looked in there when I started and thought, "Ya gotta be kidding."

I did get rid of the crumbling gaskets that seal the cylinder vent bolts - looks like that stuff would get sucked into the inductor.

Talked to fijfi and he brought up another idea: Replacing the crossover tube at the front of the tank with a quick disconnect - gotta look into that.

Anybody have any other ideas?
