What's up with that??? I thought I would buying something made in the good US of A!!! I guess I'm wrong. What are your thoughts on the subject? Welcome to the "Global Economy". Just about every American item is made with some component created outside of the US.:(

The global economy thing has been going on for many years, I was once downsized out of a job I had for 15 years, because of it, well also because they could hire someone else for less . GM is teamed with toyota , ford with mazda, hondas are made in Ohio, Nissans in Kentucky (I think) my TRD Toyota Prerunner designed and built in the USA California I believe, I had two Ford cars one built in Mexico and one in Canada, big corporations are only interested in making profits and keeping stock holders happy, so please give that buy American thing a rest. The cool thing about Harleys is the rich history and how they have managed to survive for so long and now not only survive but prosper.

Hey!
What's wrong with buying Italian!:p
I don't think he meant to imply anything wrong with Italian-made products, just when you expect one thing and get another, just doesn't seem right. Kinda like drinking from a "glass of coke", and it's really iced tea. Sorta throws you off.

The opposite is true too, a Honda minivan is more 'made in the USA' than a Ford Escort... bottomline is large corporations are now nations unto themselves.
