Actually rather then donating money I could instead donate my time as well as server space and bandwidth. I own a consulting firm and also do hosting, I host 4 V Bulletin boards and about 5 YaBB Boards as well. So if thats the issue just let me know I'd be happy to help out in that manner,
Yes, It provides a service I can't get anywhere else.
I'm willing to go beyond the minimum, I'd like to help as much as possible.
Up until June I always had this idea that the MOCO was good people, since then I know different.

Appreciate the thought guys. I think donations will be the way I'd run it since not everyone can afford mandatory fees.
Plus, alot of people don't have computers and merely surf from work and pop in occasionally. AND, I think we can continue to get broader input to the forum if everyone were able to access the site.
And lastly, I don't want this forum to be thought of as a "business", because it is not. I love to show off my web/graphic talents, and have a passion for riding and like to share that with all of the riders we have here.

That would throw my entire plan for cheap Vodka into a tail spin! Now go with me on this.
A bottle of cheap Vodka is right around $12.47
A bottle like that lasts 2 full evenings.
That is 3 and a half bottles a week.
Times 52 weeks a year = $2,269.54
Now if ya take the $20 out of the picture it only leaves me $2,249.54 a year for cheap Vodka !

Ok I'll do it.Good idea on the donations however if you ever decide youd like to free up the cash you spend on hosting let me know, ill give you space and bandwidth.
As for the donations, my suggestion is to simply go down to your local city office, register a business name should cost only about 10.00 then open a pay pall account and a bank account in the business name and put up a link, additionally you could rent a PO Box for those who prefer to send you cash or checks or just plain dont want to open a paypal account for themselves and post that information as well. Thats always been the easiest way i have done it in the past with boards I ran for donations.
Lastly if the MoCo decides to persue the case of the domain name legally, drop me a line, I know a few really good lawyers who specialize in domain name cases ( I went through the same thing last year) and I would be happy to pass on the information to you if you should want it.

I'd happily pay $20 annually. This is a great site and organized in a killer way. If you designed the layout and did all the programming in addition to the graphics, I'd market the structure to others who would like to set up a great bulletin board and just plug in their own colors, titles, etc.
I have heavily hacked this software and added ALOT of features that are not available in its original format....Its original form is at www.vbulletin.com, which it is already for sale at that site.Eagle_Woman said:

I wish I did write all of this software! I'd be on my own private island somewhere.
