Not sure how it happened but my toe shifter is loose and it seems to be stripped.

Tried tightening it down but looks like its not doing a thing. I vaguely remember someone else having this happen to them.

Any recommendations? I only use the heel shifter so its not a real problem...yet.

YEP! I am the toe shifter replacement king!

RoadKings have a lot of vibration on this unit. What happens kind of sucks. If operated while loose, the vibration quickly wears the spline shaft creating flat spots. Then yer screwed.

Boomer welded mine on after I got sick and tired of replacing it. Small bead between the shaft and the shifter.

One thing that I have found is once those bolts come loose, REPLACE THEM with new. Dip the new one in lock tight and let it sit over night.

Remove the toe shifter and inspect the spline shaft. ( Use a mirror to inspect the underside.) If teh shaft is good, the new bolts and lock tight should do the trick.
