Uuuuugg I hate to even admit it but I have a stripped front axle. I dont have a problem just ordring a new one but it is a special one. This is a 2001 FXDL with a Arlen Ness mid glide conversion, so the axle is an odd length. I am ordering a new axle but was wondering if there are any ways to repair what I have in the mean time?
Thanks

Consider a local machine shop.
Yeah I ordered one second day from Arlen Ness but I am worried that they wont have it in stock. In the mean time I drew one up and will be calling the shop on Monday. Any idea what material that is ??? The stock one is better then the Ness one.
Thanks

Sorry, man, I don't have a clue. I'd take what you have to a good machinist and let him advise. I've seen them work miracles.
