On my 2009 Street Glide I would like to change the 17" front wheel (OEM) to a 18" wheel (OEM). I have a neighbor that has a OEM wheel from his 2012 SG with rotors. His bike has ABS and mine does not. I checked part numbers and the axle sleeves are the same numbers, the rotors are the same numbers. Will these wheels work on my 2009 SG without any other mods? I don't plan on adding ABS to mine at this time. Any other information regarding this swap that would be helpful will also be appreciated. Thanks

You will need to replace the bearing from the ABS wheel with a non abs bearing on the side that interfaces with the ABS system and the wheel should go right on.

As for adding ABS to your bike, not an option from what I understand, ABS has to be installed when the bike is built at the factory.

Thanks Inspector 12; change the bearings, install the wheel. and I am good to go. I was under the impression from a separate posting that the ABS could be added, but probably not something that I would be doing anyway.
