I am thinking about some engine mods to my new ('06 Classic) bagger. I don't think I want to go to 95", the power is OK as is. I do miss the high compression "feel" I had on my '04 Sporty 1200 roadster. I mostly miss the compression braking when I let off the throttle. There have been a lot of threads about mild builds but none seem to address the 88" engine. Can this be done by shaving stock heads or thin head gaskets? Will there be valve clearance or...... issues?
I have Rienhart True Duals, SE A/C (currently blue filter but just ordered K&N-will install before 1K checkup) and SERT.
Thanks for the good advice so far, this is a great forum!
