Does anyone know how to safely remove the awful glued on refelectors from the rear fender on my '02 FLSTF...I put on a sissy bar (HD) for my OL and the bracket half covers the reflector and it looks like crap. I'm concerned I might damage the fender paint. It looks like double-sided tape, but it is really glued on there! Thanks.

Try using dental floss pulling it behind the reflector in a sawing motion to cut the reflectors off and then use WD-40 to remove the adhesive.

Ditto Harleycat. Dental floss works like a champ. I've never used WD40 to clean off the adhesive residue but I've seen many places that it works for folks. I use Goo Gone.

A hair dyer will also help soften the glue. Dental floss and goo gone works great.

Pull it off by hand...use 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner to clean it up.
The front ones pull off by hand too.
They usually don't last 24hrs on any bike I buy.
Very tacky,much like the horn.........
