I have a 2002 FLHRI. Lately after I ride the bike at highway speeds for 15 to 20 miles a Squeak / rub noise starts. It seems to be getting worse and the noise seems to be in tune with wheel roll. Anybody have this problem. Its annoying as hell.

I'm having the same problem. Just noticed it yesterday. Thought it might be the drive belt but it is adjusted within limits. My squeak sounds like it is coming from the left rear bearing. It doesn't have the rubber squeak sound. Taking it to the dealer today.

Try putting a smear of grease on the muffler clamp/rubber block thingy's that attache to the saddlebag support rails.
It'll probably be those, rubbing dry with the muffler vibs.

Thanks for the hint on the muffler mounts. Ended up taking the bike to the shop. They said the belt was too tight. Something about the new belts actually shrink when they get hot. Problem seems to be fixed. Kinda pissed me off that they charged me $20.00 bucks , considering that the only one's that have ever adjusted the belt hve been them. Guess it's not considered under warranty. Oh well............

misterca,
Thanks for the update and maintaining a sense of humor:D How long have you had the bike? Curious about the $20, gaskets? If recently purchased, why not covered?
