Scott Settino and Team FTF Cycles / IronWorks Racing enjoyed another successful weekend at the Loudon Road Race Series this past weekend aboard their 2009 Harley-Davidson XR1200 Sportster. Scott was able to set fastest lap at Sunday’s practice as well as getting a new personal best lap time of 1:20.3.

FTF Cycles shop owner and Crew Chief, Dan Pike stated “Being moved up to amateur, we new we would be facing a more competitive field, but making the decision to go to slicks and make some chassis modifications really seemed to pay off for us.”

On Saturday the team took a 1st place finish in the Formula 50 class and 2nd in the Ultralight Superbike class. Sunday, Scott earned a 2nd place spot in Thunderbike and finished off the weekend with a win, taking a 1st place finish in Lightweight Superbike.

Out of the sixteen races the team has participated in this season, they currently have ten 1st place finishes with five finishes in 2nd and one in 3rd. FTF hopes to continue their success with the help of their many great sponsors; IronWorks Magazine, Amsoil, Brock’s Performance, Darkhorse Crankworks, EBC, Gilles Tooling, K&N, Race Tech, Shorai, Vance & Hines, Vanson Leathers, World Wide Bearings, Zipper’s Performance / ThunderMax, and H&H Graphix.

Team FTF would like to welcome their newest sponsor, Pirtek of Avon, Ma to the line up and they would also like to thank local companies, Advanced Engine and TEC Distributing for their support.
