Which type of rear suspension allows more movement at the back axle, a softail or as dyna?
Edit 2018-06-13:- found following specs
XL1200C sportster = 2.1"
FXDC dyna super glide cutsom = 4.1"
FXSTC softail custom = 4.3"
FXDB dyna fat bob = 3.1"
FLSTF softail fatboy = 4.3"
So it would seem softail and dyna have potentially quite similar rear wheel travel, and both have more than sporty. Fatbob less so, but dyna custom and others all around 4"
Is this a trick question? Haven't researched spec's, but would guess dyna has more travel.
Neither are gonna keep you from bottoming out on a bad road.
